The gallant fighters of DMLEK had surrounded and attacked a store of raw material and marble grinding spar parts situated at Gonye. It was on 27^th May, 2009 at 12:00 mid night that has demolished the storey at Gonye and a platoon of 12 military personels.

In a day before that, meaning on 26^th May, 2009 the liberation fighters of Eritrean Federal Democratic Movements have attached the enemy at Meakelay, killing eight. Still, the forces of Eritrean liberation Front have also waged a successful mission for which details are expected soon. The simultaneous movement and range of operations had blurred the spirit of the 18^th anniversary celebration of Eritrean Liberation day. The 19^th regiment of the regime was totally frustrated by the tense and stress they have got from the challenges brought by the fighters of the opposition organizations at that right time.
