This sequence of three instantaneous photographs has been taken in Asmara some month ago. The photographer is a diplomat, who has them passed to the Courier. This is his story: "I was parking my car in one street in the center of the Eritrean capital, when from the other part of the road I saw a truck on whose pianale the soldiers were pushing a score of boys. I have understood that it was a matter of a raid of young people to be sent to the ill famed and hated one army camp of Sawa. One of the boys ...tried to escape by crossing the road. Ce he did not make it. E' be hit from one squall of gun fire. Then a man in uniform approached and finished the boy with a grace blow. His body remained on the asphalt for beyond an hour.
